I can never stop listening to this music!!
I am happy to present to you some updates on this magical music that so many of you have been listening to, and sharing your love about.
For those of you who are not aware:
Summer Rain Recordings
is an international collective of amazing music, from amazing new artists. Each artist on the label donates a minimum of 5% of their royalties for every release to NextAid, or a charity of their choice, and the label matches their percentage donation from the label profits from the release. Their distributor ioda, also donates 25% of their fees for each release to NextAid too.
The label has a selection of fresh new music from new artists, as well as guest appearances from more established artists who wish to give something back in the form of royalty donations to charity. This is why my last.fm box is constantly updated with new tracks all of the time!
It is important to point out that Summer Rain Recordings is split into two categories:
Summer Rain White- downtempo, breaks, and chillout
Summer Rain Green- progressive house and club style genre (to be released soon)
and that it has been up and running for 8 months, with a collection of over 50 artists at various stages of releases. Here are just a few to wet your appetite.
Why do I know so much about it!! Only because it is all brought to you by my favorite dj/music producer/record label owner in the world!!! I met him on myspace a few years back, and now he is part of our family, and our roommate too!!!
So it always gives me great pleasure to share what I love so much with all of you! I get to listen to him perform all of the time! (remember the I get to's in life!!! they are so fabulous!) Some afternoons we will wake up, and have the magical news that he has found another artist and or has written a new track or two!! We get to hear them hot off the press!!! I get all giddy with delight! Who would have ever known!

David recently played at bliss for the bunnies without borders fundraiser party for the Shiva Vista Project, an art project that david is helping with for burning man this year. An amazing stage, where all of the fire performers will come and perform, and he will be playing there too! I can hardly wait! We will be hula hooping there too, and have a few other surprises to share out on the playa!
He is looking forward to playing at bliss a whole lot more. We are going to be throwing some events there in the near future, and david will be there rocking the night away!

The music that grabbed my heart from the beginning. Two weeks ago, he got up and proceeded to share with us his two new tracks, both of which he had just written that night. That's the part where we get to hear it hot off the press. I know he probably thinks I am crazy because everytime he asks me what I think, I always says I love it!! But it's true, I love it I love it I love it!!! The tracks will be part of the new EP he is working on to be released in June.
So there you have it, one of many updates on my favorite dj in the world! I really hope you take the time to seek out, and support this amazing artist. Many times people are not aware of the fact that if you really appreciate an artist, you should support them, so that they can continue making the inspirations that they are here to share.
I need to mention here too ladies, that this is one elligible, amazing, passionate, and artistic man! A bloody englishman living right upstairs from me! Bollocks!!! Somebody needs to change that! See what happens when you live with an englishman!!! ;) they really start wearing off on you! He sure does well at putting up with us! and let me tell you, if he can put up with us, this man can put up with anything!!! ha ha just kidding...............NOT!!
