Sir Ken Morrison has just reorganised his £1bn fortune before the capital gains tax rules change. Denying the Exchequer £100 million in tax revenue. Sir Ken is 76. It takes a rarefied level of avarice to think that £900 million isn't enough to see out your twilight years. He made his fortune off the British public. He's happy enough to let us pick up the tab for the doctors teachers and nurses educating and caring for his workers. The police and fire services protecting his stores. But he doesn't see any reason to contribute himself. If that isn't anti-social behaviour I don't know what is.
